North State Diaper Bank

Welcome to North State Diaper Bank

During the months of November and December, the North State Diaper Bank collects diapers of all sizes, plus cash donations to go toward the purchase of diapers for distribution to those families in need.  All sizes from Preemie to Extra Large Adult are in need. But, contrary to popular belief, however, the size diapers most in need are those for premature babies and surprisingly enough adult seniors.  Senior Diapers are among the most difficult items for most families to afford—and are thus, the most in need… especially, during the holiday season!

Donation locations are in the process of being set up all over the city of Chico, CA; but our main drop off location is located at 582 Rio Lindo Ave. at Chico Holistic Healthcare; whom is heading up the 2009 Diaper Drive.

If you would like to donate diapers or cash for purchase of diapers, please feel free to drop them by Chico Holistic Healthcare at any time during regular business hours.  Sundays, they may be donated directly to the Shalom Free Clinic, located at 1190 E. First Avenue Chico, CA 95926 or anytime at the Shalom Free Clinic Thrift Shop, located at 250 E. 1st St., Chico, CA  95928.

If you would like to have your organization or school involved with the collection and distribution of diapers, please call at 530-892-1930 to set up our Holiday Distribution Program. We accept individual or packaged diapers or other related items; such as wipes, pads, or Etc.

 

The North State Diaper Bank is soon to be a non-profit organization with it’s own 501C and currently set up and managed  by Chico Holistic Healthcare;  with the proceeds of donated diapers to go to the Shalom Free Clinic, or the Shalom Free Clinic Thrift Shop, acting as DDN (Diaper Dispersal Network) under their 501C non-profit status.  Nobody associated with Chico Holistic Healthcare profits any money or items by the collection of diapers; and any monies collected go 100% toward the purchase of Diapers for donation to the Shalom Free Clinic.  Those organizations in need of diapers may find the Shalom Free Clinics requirements for dispersal soon on these pages.  Although some diapers may be handed out through the clinic, individuals generally will not be given diapers without going through the proper channels of approved organizations by the Shalom Free Clinic.
